Brooklyn City F.C. fields both women's and men's teams at multiple levels.
Brooklyn City F.C. Women
From its inception of the club in 2017, Brooklyn City F.C. has prioritized Women's soccer with our first BCFC Women's amateur team competing in the local Gotham Soccer league, 9v9 division. The Women's side of our club has grown substantially, with the most recent highlight being the launch of our semi-pro Brooklyn City F.C. UWS team in 2020, re-started after COVID in 2021, and now competing in the WPSL, the largest women's league in the world. We continue to provide year-round programming for women, and aim to launch a second 11v11 amateur squad. The club is committed to continue to grow and build this side of our club with multiple teams at the amateur level, and with a pathway or outlet for all levels of players.
Brooklyn City F.C. Men
Our Men's program launched in 2019, and with our top Men's team recently completing their first season in the 3rd division of the historic Cosmopolitan Soccer League, one of the oldest and most established men's amateur leagues in the country. BCFC also fields a 2nd team that plays in Division 4 of Cosmopolitan League. Our competitive objective is to earn promotion, continually push the level of our top team, while also offering pathway to players to all levels to join the club, play, develop and push their own individual level higher if they choose. We also participate in local leagues across Brooklyn, both full-sided and small-sided.
