Sophia DeLorenzo is a current Brooklyn City F.C. Club Administrator, as well as the Internal Recruitment Coordinator, G2017/18 head coach, G2014/15 Assistant Coach, and G2011 Assistant Coach.
Sophia graduated from SUNY New Paltz in May 2024, where she was a psychology major and a student athlete for 2 years.
Before college, Sophia grew up playing travel club soccer in the NYC area for former Brooklyn club SABA, as well as Manhattan clubs Manhattan Soccer Club and Asphalt Green Soccer Club. Sophia was also a 4 year varsity soccer player for Brooklyn Technical HS, leading her team to a city championship game her senior year (2019), and was named team co-MVP.
During her travel club soccer years, Sophia competed in top girl's tournaments like Jefferson's Cup in VA, and Surf Cup in CA, where her team won 2nd place. She has also been a part of US Soccer National Training Centers, as well as a few various select regional teams.
