THE STORY BEHIND THE COLLAB
Brooklyn City F.C. and City League Coffee are both Brooklyn-born, Brooklyn-based local community-minded organizations whose mission, purpose, and every action is driven by our members and neighbors around us. Upon meeting, sharing stories, values, and dreams for our organizations, it seemed inevitable to work together and create something special for our beloved Brooklyn communities, as both coffee and soccer are universal and ubiquitous across the Borough.
The collab and its products needed to not only having meaning and greater purpose, but had to be QUALITY with attention to detail. This is Brooklyn afterall, and our people ruthlessly demand the highest standard!
THE COFFEE
Our Brazil blend is the ideal well-rounded coffee for the larger community. The perfect combination of bold and smooth. Brazil represents the soul of global football ("soccer" for us), and a form of the game that is universal, positive, open and accessible to all.
We've named our exclusive blend "BQE to Infinity" to represent our two-fold club mission of 1) bringing communities together and 2) being accessible to all. The BQE (and connecting roadways) is an iconic fixture in Brooklyn connecting dozens of diverse neighborhoods, physically connecting many Brooklyn City F.C. families, and parks and fields used by club. Infinity of course represents limitless possibilities and an open-ended access that our club provides to youth and adults to all levels of the game.
City League Coffee brings the highest level of detail, quality, and care their locally-roasted beans. Beans are roasted so recently, the coffee is just, well, "different". You will know once you've tried it, and will not be disappointed! City League is constantly innovating not only with new beans, blends, and roasts, but also community projects.

THE JERSEY
Our Limited Edition City League x BCFC jersey embodies the mission of this special collab, bringing together both brands on a sleek Hummel black jersey that feels Brooklyn, no matter what neighborhood or street corner.
These high-quality jerseys are available in very limited quantities and are EXCLUSIVE to this project. Due to lack of inventory in "Black", in some sizes the jersey is only available in "Molten", also a hot color and look for anyone in Brooklyn.
The jerseys are generously provided by Hummel North America at minimal expense, to maximize the fundraising impact of this project. Hummel is the exclusive brand partner of Brooklyn City F.C.

South Brooklyn Mutual Aid brings a new and thoughtful approach to providing services and support to those in our community that most need it. Mutual aid networks such as theirs, provide goods and services directly in a de-centralized manner, rather than the tradition charity model which can sometimes imply superiority of the giver over the receiver. The South Brooklyn Mutual Aid organization is dependent on core principles of community, education, and human decency.
