Technical Advisor / "Acting DOC"
Paul Cammarata


Paul joins the club as Technical Advisor, and “acting DOC” (Director of Coaching) and will oversee the club's coaching and development methodology as well as working with club President, Jesse DeLorenzo, advising on all aspects of the club's formation and continued growth. Paul will also serve as Head Coach of multiple teams within the club’s youth academy.

Paul currently holds his NSCAA Premier Diploma, NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA GK Diploma, USSF D License, and has been accepted into the selective NSCAA Master Coach Diploma course.  In 2016, Paul was accepted into the NSCAA 30 under 30 Program, identifying him as one of the top 30 coaches in the United States under the age of 30.  He continues to pursue his coaching licenses at the highest level.

A native New Yorker, Paul began coaching while attending Fordham University. After graduating from Fordham, Paul began working as a Youth Coach with the New York Red Bulls, creating curriculum and development plans for a large youth partner, as well as coaching both boys and girls teams with the organization. In April of 2015, Paul accepted an opportunity to serve as the Boys Lead Phase Coach at Kansas City Prime Soccer Club, as well as an Assistant Coach at Avila University for the Men's Varsity team. While at KC Prime, a club with a substantial rec program and 40-50 youth club teams, Paul helped oversee the implementation of a club-wide development plan, as well as organizing and running coach and parent education initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Coaching and Technical Director, Paul was involved in the running of the club both on the field as well as behind the scenes, working on community outreach initiatives, coach recruitment, talent identification, and more.

Moving back to New York for family reasons, he’s recently served as a Staff Coach at Syosset Soccer Club, working with several NSCAA Senior National Staff coaches. Paul is also the Assistant Coach at Kellenberg Memorial H.S. with the Men's Varsity Team, a position he has held from 2013-2015 and 2016-Present.

Off the field, Paul is the founder of The Coaching Journey ( which serves as a club and coach consultancy resource. He lives on Long Island, NY.
